Trish spent six years working for a large London theatre company as participatory projects director, before founding MakeBelieve Arts. The purpose of the company is to make a definite and long-lasting contribution to the development of children and young people. The activities are programmed to pursue artistic, social and educational aims and objectives.
Trish has an MA in theatre and occasionally lectures on theatre in education at Goldsmith’s University. She also runs teacher training sessions, in-class programmes and a variety of projects derived from her innovative approach to child-centred learning through drama.
Her most recent publication Success in the Creative Classroom is available in UK bookshops and she has been commissioned to contribute to a book on creative parenting to be published in August 2008.
