The event on 8 November saw a host of top women, including the senior director of the Office of Fair Trading, Sonya Branch, human rights lawyer Shaheed Fatima and barrister Ruby Sayed of the Asian Women’s Resource Centre, commended.

Presenting Kresse with the award, Hurley said: “I don’t know of anything more glamorous than being an entrepreneur. To build something from nothing is the stuff that dreams are made of. The women in this category are an inspiration – and god damn it, they’re all under 35!”
