Matt Stevenson-DoddMatt Stevenson-Dodd, who’s been CEO of Unique social enterprise for eight years, is to be the new head of Young Enterprise North West (YENW).

The ambassador, whose new post will be in Warrington working with 4-25 year olds, plans to bring more elements of social enterprise to the charity.

Talking about the move, he said: “I’ve achieved all I wanted to at Unique and I’m looking forward to the new post because there are some great opportunities to develop what happens there and to integrate more social enterprise elements.

“There’s a huge role for social enterprise at Young Enterprise North West and I’m also looking forward to working in a new area geographically,” he added.

The Young Enterprise network thrives in the North West and in 2007 it worked with more than 27,000 students to grow their engagement with and knowledge of enterprise.

All three will continue to be ambassadors are to remain working in and with social enterprises.
