Director magazine has honoured Nigel Kershaw, CEO of Big Issue Invest, in its ‘Good Director’ awards.

The accolades celebrate business directors who are leading the way in their field in areas including diversity; leadership; innovation and design; and skills, development and education.

Nigel was given the ‘enterprise’ award by the magazine for his forward thinking approach to business.

In July 2007, the leader was named as the magazine’s director of the month for overseeing a £4m fund that provides loans to social enterprises, for “not being afraid to make a profit” and for being a “creative thinker who's looking at how the business models of the City can be applied to social enterprise”.
