Emily Eavis is the daughter of Michael Eavis, who founded of the Glastonbury Festival. She has worked extensively with Oxfam, helping launch the Make Trade Fair campaign, as well as with Water Aid and Amnesty International.

Emily has also organised several political and charity concerts, including the Anti-Iraq War show at the Shepherds Bush Empire, and fundraising events for Oxfam with the likes of REM, Ricky Gervais, Chris Martin and Noel Gallagher.

In 2006, the Festival donated £1.7million to its main charities, such as Oxfam, Water Aid and Greenpeace, and also gave money to smaller charities and projects.
