Julie is chief executive of COSMIC, an organisation which gives young people, older people, small businesses and disadvantaged people, ICT skills to improve their lives.

Since the beginning, Julie has had a key role in leading business development and strategic planning. She is passionate about ensuring services are of the highest quality and that social objectives remain high on the agenda - for businesses, community organisations and individuals alike, and especially for young people.

Julie is a keen follower of ICT and its effects on society, and is a major advocate of social enterprise and social accounting.

She is currently chair of RISE, the regional organisation which supports social enterprises in the South West, and is taking an MA leadership studies at Exeter University.
