At Last!

Well I have finally got around to blogging. I've had a busy few months, like Ken Orchard, I've spoken about social enterprise - specifically about my own social enterprise, at a breakfast meeting (yawn!), yesterday at a funding lunch, at conferences and conventions and even as guest at the Social Enterprise West Midlands virtual meeting. I am booked to speak at the CRN conference in London in June - and yes Ken, I've started charging!

A lot of the work I am doing is behind the scenes, working to bring in support for existing and emerging social enterprise. Networking, making contacts, linking key people, all the usual but effective stuff. In the rural counties, Social Enterprise is still quite a new concept to many and I am getting involved with setting up a What is Social Enterprise? morning workshop, followed by lunch and a guided tour of South Shropshire Furniture Scheme.
